My SkillsMy Skills
Welcome to my 2nd blog post! This blog of sorts is for employeers to have a better idea of my the units I have studied while at University along with some of the other thing's I have been working on outside of University studies.
During my time at University, I have consistently maintained a 1st Class degree throughout the first two years. I am driven to complete my third year with the same high standard, as it remains one of my primary goals for this year, alongside the pursuit of a career in the security field. In the course of my studies, I've harnessed various learning platforms like TryHackMe, HackTheBox, and PortSwigger Academy to enrich my skill set.
In my free time, I find great enjoyment in staying updated with the latest security content on YouTube and Twitter. I follow influential creators like John Hammond on YouTube and engage with a network of security professionals on Twitter, where I frequently discover emerging trends, vulnerabilities, and industry insights. This multi-faceted approach to knowledge acquisition has not only broadened my understanding but has also inspired me to create my own YouTube video series, focusing on SQL injection and implementing straightforward defense strategies to mitigate the risks associated with injection attacks.
Currently, I'm actively engaged in the SOC Level 1 learning path on TryHackMe to further hone my skills and knowledge in preparation for a fulfilling career in this field.
I trust this provides a clearer and more compelling picture of my academic achievements, as well as my unwavering commitment to continuous learning and professional development. I eagerly look forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your organization. Thank you for considering my application.
